5-09-2013   Best Olive Oil - Blog

Hi all and an absolutely beautiful day it is! I am loving springtime. As I was driving to work today I was just noticing all the flowered trees and bushes, the trees are getting greener everyday and the Willows, oh the beauty of the Willow trees. Sigh. Nice.

It is good to get back into the office/warehouse and catch up. I do so love being out  in the markets though, outside and with people. People are very interesting and mostly good. I had a different helper with me at the Lapeer Market yesterday and it was a good time getting to know someone I did not know well and sharing stories. Thank you Alaina!

Usually I do not blog about housework stuff...but a friend of mine on FB posted a recipe for a cleaner that will...WILL remove stains and OLD stains. This really caught my attention see, because I do bottle olive oil and I do get olive oil on my clothes. Some of my favorite things not so much my favorite anymore due to stains. Well! This worked on my favorite pair of pants that have had stains in for months. Pretty much, these were what I wore anymore when I was going to bottle (so sad). This worked...it did take twice usage but the stains, ALL the stains are OUT! I am so excited!
Recipe:

2 t dawn dish detergent
1 T baking soda
3 T peroxide
mix together well and apply using a toothbrush on the stain. Let sit for a few, then laundry as usual.

Give it a try. It sure made my day. Soon I will be going through some other things and treating them...especially my hubbies shirts! LOL I hope this is happy and helpful!
