3-10-2013   Best Olive Oil - Blog
Hi and good afternoon on this Springtime. Today's high is 50 and for just a few minutes - glorious minutes, I saw the sun pop out! My kitty and I mad a mad dash for the deck. My li'll Mya girl. Thank God for her, she and I are in the healing game after loosing Tux' (previous post).
Sundays for me are lay back and do a little catching up around the house, no big projects today. I did put a sirloin roast on today in the slow cooker with potatoes and carrots and onions and it is smelling pretty yummy right about now, I rubbed the roast with himalayan salt and smoked garlic pepper and then browned it in Carothers' Olive Oil. It took a little longer to brown because you do not want to get the olive oil HOT, ut I could not resist and brown it in something different as Carothers' is so tasty - I knew if done right, it would be perfect. Looking forward to dinner!
