Best Olive Oil - Blog
Hi! New day. :)) This is a very good thing! In looking over past blogs I realized that I shared with you about my kitty Tuxedo and how very sick he was and left things at that. Moved on 3 days later! Sigh. I guess I "checked out" for a few days myself, we lost Tux', he did not make it more than a few hours. Broke our hearts. We did not have him for even a full year.
I have an amazing Sister that her shoulder I cried upon and she reminded me to "let go" and to look for the silver linings in everything. There ALWAYS is one. She also reminded me that everything that comes our way in life/love is a gift to be appreciated in the moment for this is all we are promised. Sherie is a wise lady and I love her, a lot.
The silver lining in this tragedy is our Mya kitty. Mya is missing Tux' a lot, they were buddies and I kept promising both "Spring is coming you two, and Tuxedo, I need you to show Mya the ropes..."well...sigh. Back to the silver lining. Rather distracted by my pain...letting go....
Mya is so affectionate and finding consolation with us. She is adorable. Brian is even warming up to her, he calls her affectionately Bugger. ..and she responds! LOL
This week is the first couple of days that she is alone in the house while we go to work. When I drive away in the morning, she is at the living room window watching me go (heart tugger) and when I come home she is there at the back door to greet me.
Back to the olive oil as this really was my intention with this blog! I have been bottling 1/2 pint container cans today and jammin' to Joe Cocker, Mad dogs and Englishmen. I went to You Tube to watch the video and forgot that the Leon is on the piano and that was a happy time too! Posting:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4RnjWLVyMps
Blessings and enjoy!!! Marie K
